Nothing there of interest. If you are athletic and adventurious, then the excursions might be something you would be interested in.

We took a water taxi to El gato beach like everyone else and had fun in the sun renting a table on the beach. You really need water socks for this water ouch. Snorkeling was good here

TOOK A TAXI TO THE ELDORARDO HOTEL, SAT ON THE BEACH AND ATE AT AN AUTHENIC MEXICAN RESTAURANT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE HOTEL. BEST MEXICAN MEAL WE HAD HAD THE WHOLE TRIP. THE CRUISE SHIP DID NOT EVEN SERVED A MEXICAN CRUISINE.

This is a really lovely port - the people are friendly and the seem to really want to see the tourists. We've been to other ports in Mexico and didn't find them as warm and charming. We only were in Zihuartanejo for a few hours, but it was well worth the visit.
