We did the Dzibilchaltun Mayan ruins with a cenote swim and it was wonderful! The cenote swim was a unique and fun experience.

Nice port friendly people. We had the best excursion! Dune buggies to Salt mines and Myan ruins. Manny the guide was the appsolute BEST! I can't say enough good things about Manny and this excursion, this will be and awsome memory for years to come! I highly recommend and hope Manny is there the next time I go!

Russell & ? took us on a bus ride into Progresso .. We got to see a very old church & even go up the staircase to top for fun pictures. Then went to a Myian ruine .. so cool & got to climb pyramid .. Wow ! Went to a " water hole " to jump off & swing into water .. amazing & then on to a wonderful lunch at a " plantation type " home. This excursion MADE the trip 😊

Hated this port, until this visit. We had the best excursion! Mayapan Ruins, cavern swim and cave snorkel! One of the coolest things I have ever done!!!

Beautiful place. My group of friends and I did a beach excursion at a phenomenal private resort that included transportation, open bar and an all you can eat buffet.

Go to Chichen Itza - it's fantastic even though it is a very rushed trip.

Progreso is a very poor area but still beautiful near the water. The cave swimming excursion was amazing.

You can do an extensive tour if you book when you get to port for only $25 per person. We paid a little more for all inclusive drinks and food. They took us to the salt flats, mayan ruins, and technohotel. The beaches are not that great. Lots of sea weed and it stinks.
