Progresso needs a better tourist spot once you debark from the boat. I hated having to travel on the shuttle to go downtown.

No set excursion. Wanted to walk around the town. Took free tour bus down 4 mile pier into town. Walked from bus drop-off to beach. Hard to enjoy the town with the constant harassment to purchase goods, beer, margaritas and beach chairs

We loved seeing Chichen Itza, but the entire excursion was very rushed and stressful. We needed more time!

I think another port may be more fun. A lot of people i spoke with don't even leave the port because the excursions are too far. A suggestion is going to Grand Cayman and the Cozumel for a 5 day cruise.

The tour guide Jose was great. the water in progresso was not clear enough to snorkel in but it was still great.

Only visited the beach and did some shopping here. All the people walking up to you trying to sell stuff was annoying.

We took the shopping/city tour and it was great. I think this port would have been a wash out if we hadn't done that.
