Shop keepers were very aggressive. Looking at blankets one shopkeeper picked one up and there were bugs all underneath it he just knocked them off and picked up another one. We did not buy anything. Courtesy buses took us downtown where we walked to the beach, paid $15 for a table under an umbrella and then got some cokes and 6 tacos for $100 American dollars. Wasn’t my favorite place.

We did the Dzlibchatan Mayan Ruin tour with Merida. The tour guide Ricardo and driver Mr Carlos were great. Ricardo made the trip very interesting. In Merida, I bought my hubby an original Panama hat. I actually climb one of the ruins but it was hard getting down.

This port is a waste of a stop. Shopped right where you get off boat. Did take the bus down the long pier, to the dirty, flea market area,and they were so obnoxious, tables were all sane items. we went right back to port.
