We went on the Mayan Ruins tour. The bus ride to the ruins was tolerable, but the A/C didn't work very well on the bus. The lunch provided was a sack lunch that was not good. It included a sandwich, a bottle of water, an apple, some chips and a small packet of candy. The ruins was great!! But because of time restraints we weren't able to stay very long. Took some great pictures!

We did a Carnival expedition for an all-inclusive beach day at Kokomo Beach. It was a nice time. Drinks were plentiful and good. Food was delicious! Authentic Mexican/ Myan food. The beach was calm and great for floating into cool off (it was 102f that day) There was quite a bit of seaweed, but it is the Gulf of Mexico - that's what you would expect. One downside was the cost. $79per person was a but much for the 3 1/2 hours you were there. (Again we chose this last minute due to the heat - usually we have everything planned ahead of time)

Would like to see more choices in Progreso without having to take a bus to Merida (45 min) or the ruins (2 hours). It's a poor city. We shopped in port and in town. The condition doesn't bother me, but I do understand why many people choose to stay on the ship. It's a shame.

Did the foodie tour and was not a huge fan! Felt like we were on the bus more than doing activities. Not the excursion I thought it would be

We didn't get a chance to go downtown for any of the shops they have because of the resort excursion we did, but the ride to and from the location of the excursion was beautiful. Fluffy was such a wonderful guide and he was very informative about the area and the culture and we learned a lot talking and listening to him.

Went on our 1st cruise here added with Cozumel. We took the Mayan temple tour, cenote swim amd mayan restaurant food...it was so delish! So glad we experienced Progreso as the city and town and how they lived here of the 2.5hrs it took to get to the temples but we will not cruise back to Progreso in the future...we did all there is to see.

Did the Carnival private beach day. We loved it. Professor has changed quite a bit since our last visit. The service was great, the scenery was fantastic, some of the drinks were not so good.

We did just a little shopping. When you get off the ship it’s a long walk to the shops and of course that means a long walk back. Wish they had the little rickshaws like Cozumel. This was my second time in Progresso and I don’t think I’ll go again.

The tour of the city bus was awesome. It was very informative and the guide was fantastic! It was about 1.5 hrs so we were able to shop and visit with the locals. Awesome stop for us.
