This was the most enjoyable things we did as a family. Just relaxed on the beach enjoyed the beautiful sights and sounds. The one thing that made this trip so memorable was our tour guide on the bus to the Reef Hotel his name was Alejandro Fitzmaurice Laviada He was such a warm and passionate ambassador for his country enjoyed it immensely. He educated, informed and entertained us great experience thank you Alejandro

The free beaches were beautiful from a distance but very dirty up close and every 5 seconds someone was trying to sell you something. We only spent 2 hours before we went back to the ship.

Do not go to Tecnohotel! It’s a dump and drinks and food are TERRIBLE. We wish we had stayed on the ship. This is the only port that I will avoid at all cost.

I was worried about this port after reading some reviews. However, I love Mayan Ruins and this is the best port to go to see some of the biggest and most beautiful ruins in Mexico. It is now one of my favorite ports.

In Progreso, we did the Mayan Ruins, Flamingo, and Silcer Beach Excursion. We had a great time! We used Shore Excursioneer for our excursion and they did not disappoint!

Had never heard of this town before. Found this town to be a nice quiet fishing village with friendly locals. We did the excursion to Uxmal and really enjoyed it. Andres and Felipe were excellent tour guides with a wealth of knowledge on the Mayan culture. They were friendly and genuinely concerned to make sure all guests were having a good time. We were in awe of the Mayan ruins and enjoyed the opportunity to climb them and the view from atop was not to be missed. We had plenty of time to explore the ruins on our own after a guided tour by Felipe and even had time to grab a bite to eat in the restaurant on site to experience authentic Mayan food. The bagged lunch provided at the beginning of the trip is really unnecessary as most people have just eaten a nice breakfast on board the ship and are not interested in eating a bologna sandwich at 9:30am.
