We caught a tour bus, not affiliated with the cruiseline, and went to Meridia.

we booked Chichen Itza/Cenote VIP excursion. Van/tour guide were excellent but Not enough time at Cenote/lunch. Chichen Itza a Mayan temple is very beautiful and lot of history behind building this temple.

The excursion to in Progresso to beach was great in which I took the bus from the port to another location to the beach. The part of taking to buses to get to a particular location was unacceptable.

Stayed on the ship. Did not feel like dealing with pushy people at the port

The port of Progreso was good. At the last minute we booked an excursion to Dzibilchaltun, the Mayan Ruins. It was a very informative excursion and the tour guides were very good at making us feel safe and to share much information about the state of Yucatan as well as much about the Mayan culture and people.

Not much to do right off the ship. Have to travel a good hour or more to do anything entertaining other than shop
