Overall excellent family outing for 5 nights. we did not purchased internet plan so basically not connected to the outer world for 5 nights. and really not missed.
lot of foods, drinks, rest , fun and beautiful ports site.

dinning rooms, restaurants were awesome and servers were fantastic. we were party of 12 people and 10 were Vegetarians. every night diner they have Indian veg options. basically it has 2/3 veg dishes with rice. I would recommend to add Indian bread (Naan or Roti) and rice should be either Basamati or Sona Massorri.
Breakfast for three days they have Masala Dosa and it was good, specially chutney was really good. Maybe you can another veg breakfast options like Poha or Upama.
For Non-veg eaters you can get Chicken curries or Lamb/Chicken Biryani if you asked in advance. not a part of standard menu.

as expected. mostly you used cabin for sleeping and bathrooms.
we booked Chichen Itza/Cenote VIP excursion. Van/tour guide were excellent but Not enough time at Cenote/lunch.
Chichen Itza a Mayan temple is very beautiful and lot of history behind building this temple.
we had little problem. someone took our one bag at the time of checkout. but the attendant immediately called the person and after some wait we got our bag.
Glad you enjoyed it. I agree that disconnecting from the phone and internet while on vacation is a great idea. If there is a true emergency, there Are ways for people to contact the ship or for you to call home, if truly needed. Sadly most people can’t put their phone down for one hour, let alone for one week.
