The food was excellent, the staff was wonderful & exceptionally friendly, attentive and helpful.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the whirlpools and the shops. We would have taken advantage of the pools had we cruised in a warmer time of year.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedy routines and the music.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
We did not have children with us, but we sat in on the Towel Animal Theatre prior to our debarkation seminar and we loved how there were programs designed especially for the children and the attention that seemed to be placed upon the children. It was a very cute program.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We absolutely loved our wait staff. Reila, Randy and Joenelyn were the best, they went above & beyond for us and it was so enjoyable that they took the time to learn who we were & whenever we saw them, they referred to us by name and always with a smile. My husband has a unique food allergy and they went above & beyond to make sure he was not affected by anything at the table that might possibly cause an issue.
We also had a wonderful experience with our room steward, Ali. He was so friendly, always had a smile & was so quick to offer any assistance we might need. Any maintenance & cleaning personnel we saw during our cruise were always friendly.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was very clean & well maintained. The maintenance staff seemed to quickly take care of any issues that arose. The layout seemed very well organized.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was very clean and spacious. It was a very comfortable room with a beautiful view of the ocean.
The port of Cozumel was very pretty, the people were all very friendly and helpful. We did the beginner scuba excursion at Sunset Beach as well as the snorkeling excursion. Both excursions were very good, the instructors were excellent. 2 of the main instructors/leaders at Sand Dollar Sports were Joshua and Miguel. They were wonderful to take the time to speak with us and instruct us on our excursions.
The port of Progreso was good. At the last minute we booked an excursion to Dzibilchaltun, the Mayan Ruins. It was a very informative excursion and the tour guides were very good at making us feel safe and to share much information about the state of Yucatan as well as much about the Mayan culture and people.
