Loved it! Very beautiful with a great amount of new construction going on all along the Malicon (Boardwalk). We took a local tour in a Pulmonia - open air vehicle made by Volkswagen - would highly recomment!

Highly recommend the salsa & salsa excursion get a great tour of the city, make some awesome food & margaritas flow freely the dancing at the end is optional and fun

We had the best time EVER in Mazatlán? I celebrated with 18 of my Family and Friends. We were on The Royal Princess. Very Beautiful Ship. Everyone is still talking about the Spa’s.

The port doesn’t look as great as Cabo for example. There’s lots of shipping containers. There was a nice Mercado for souvenirs though that we explored on our way back to the ship. We went zip lining with the Huana Coa. That was such an enjoyable adventure.

The ship docks in a working port and you get shuttled to the gate to get out to the street. We caught a taxi to a Walmart nearby to grab some souvenirs and supplies we missed packing. The area does seem rather rundown and I would not want to be just roaming around and get lost. The little taxi cabs / converted old VW's look like oversized golf carts and go buzzing around town and saw them everywhere. Overall the ride and time there was fun and safe.

People are discouraged by the scenery at the dock but don't let that fool you. Get out and look at this beautiful city!
