Review summary

Such a great time was had on this floating 5 star resort.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth embarkation process. Leave time to arrive a bit early for parking and luggage. We hand off bags at the curb. Once inside, lines moved quickly. We were checked-in in about 5 min.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining rooms are so high end that you don’t need specialty restaurants. We did try specialty restaurant and they were delicious if you’re looking for bigger size meat or lobster tail or crab. So much food is served at either the dining rooms or the specialty restaurants. The buffet is super convenient and exceptionally clean. Lots of options for being on the go.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We loved the pools and poolside entertainment. Blue 4 and familiar strangers can get a party going on their own. Alex and Rod’s dance parties in the evening were so upbeat and fun that you could make friends on the dance floor. Fitness center is a bit small and not cooled well enough for it’s size but it met the basic need. We loved all the atrium games and they even had an escape room at Q. That was fun as well.

Entertainment

Six is phenomenal. I could not get enough of it! Jersey Boys was great too just a bit too long for me. The crew talent show at the end was so cool. The ship is the crew’s life. You could see they give it their all.

Children's Programs

We didn’t bring our kids although we talked to other parents who did and they seemed highly satisfied.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Service is great except for breakfast in the main dining room (although we only went once). The servers at the MDRs and the specialty restaurants were very prompt, considerate and attentive.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This had to be the cleanest place I’ve ever been with so many people in it. When they aren’t serving, crew is cleaning. It was super clean. Stateroom was just as clean as well.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was the perfect size. I’d be happy in it even if we brought the kids. There would have been room for us to sleep and unpack comfortably. The balcony is a great size. Keep in mind we didn’t spend too much time in the room. The balcony was nice to step on to for the view in the morning.

Ship tip

Explore the whole ship before you settle in. There is so much there that we didn’t know about even after a week. (Deck 15 & 19)

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Las Caletas was beautiful and relaxing but not enough time was spent there because the excursion catamaran was late. The entertainment on the catamaran made up for this big time!

Mazatlan, Mexico

The port doesn’t look as great as Cabo for example. There’s lots of shipping containers. There was a nice Mercado for souvenirs though that we explored on our way back to the ship. We went zip lining with the Huana Coa. That was such an enjoyable adventure.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

So beautiful. Lots to do at the port. It’s a little sea town. Great food and very close to some amazing beach clubs.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Disembarkation was fine. Had to walk in and out of the dining rooms to exit. We took our own bags off the ship. Once the line moved we were off in 45 min. It’s much better than the other disembarkation option from what I heard.

Traveler Photos

Disembarkation in LA Formal Dining room setup. I think in Manhattan. Mini suit balcony view Marking bar. 1st Drink. Best bartender. Art Gallery. Free Champagne.
