Got an open air taxi at the port. Very knowledgable and friendly driver, took us all around the sights we wanted to see. We were with him for over an hour and he only charged us 30 dollars. It was like we were on a private tour.

We didn't take one of the tours from the ship but from one of the bonded tour guides on the pier. Cost of $25 per person but were gone for 5+ hours and driver stopped wherever we wanted. Group all ate at Senor' Frogs.

Bought the excursion to Stone Island and I must say I wasted a whole day there. Didn't enjoy anything at all. Beach were just as dirty as in California. Fresh coconut tasted nothing like coconut. Food was ok. Very dusty with dirts flying.

Good land tour guide. Buy the tour at the port, not on the ship.
