My favorite location. It has lots to offer. If you can walk the blue line to downtown and the church. There is lots to see in old Town area and the "Malecon" has divers, nice walk. Golden Zone is hotels and beaches, but they are not white sand. You can easily get to Stone Island beach is OK and easy to get to.

Most disappointing thing is that you arrive at a shipping area but they do have free shuttles to the port building and they have a line painted down the middle of the street leading you to the town center with volunteers along the way to answer questions. I did not take an excursion.

We had a fantastic time in Mazatlan. We took the city tour, which took us to all the different areas of the city. We visited the beautiful Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, saw cliff divers and the amazing Pamantla Flyers. We had ample time to shop and the shops were clean and had a variety of merchandise. Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgable.

Walking tour was not as interesting as expected. We were given a lot of free time rather than a lot of information.

This port is really easy to get around in your own. From the beautiful church to the beach and divers. Lots of folks trying to sell souvenirs but that’s to be expected in the touristy areas. Lots of feed/drink spots which are obviously cheaper than on the ship. The weather was awesome in January not too hot, beautiful and sunny.

This was probably our favourite port on our cruise. We didn't have a tour planned but ended up going on the HOHO Bus. Maztlan is a very interesting city and we had a great day.

We did an excursion booked through this app and it was so perfect!! We loved every moment and our guide Cesar was great! We went to 2 tiny towns about an hour from Mazatlan. We visited a quail farm which was the real deal. We went to a bakery in the next town, also authentic, and the lunch was so good an also authentic. I don’t recall the name of the restaurant.

Hired a taxi and was shown some of the city highlights. Once the pandemic settles down I'll be more keen to explore other areas.

Did an excursion on our own. It was lovely. A 3 hour tour with our guide taking us to a wonderful restaurant on the beach for lunch.
