We loved Mazatlan the best!! Great people here. Very nice! We took a city tour, and everything was amazing. Stopped at a local restaurant and ate carnitas. Yes there are run down areas because the town is old. But it has so much character.

We did mini speed boats 🚣 with all inclusive hotel at El Cid. We got to have all you can eat buffet. The buffet area was so cute Mexican theme table decorations the food 🥘 was yummy the service was great. Got to try different types of alcohol 🍷 drinks 🍸 🍹 that was also included. We could had used their pools which included a pool bar, but we ended up chilling at their beach side. It was pretty relaxing they included free mini massage and all you can drink🍹 They had the vendors come in very few times it was perfect.

Didn't do an excursion but went on the bus (signed up for it on the Splendor) it was cheap and was fun. Went shopping and to the beach, was a great time. Husband went deep sea fishing, says he wouldn't do it again but had a good time.

No excursion. We used public taxis to get to and from the ship. The beach was excellent! Had a great time!

Took the Hop on-Hop off tour that was handy to see all the available sights. got a good number of shots of the diver plummeting to the sea from 50'. Very industrial area near the docks. Wish there was a tour of the Corona brewery. Didn't like that the Hop-on Hop-off bus picked us up dock side then dropped us off outside next to a vendor arcade. Don't pay full price. Expect to pay 40 - 50% less than asking.Another very hot city with 90% humidity. Yikes!

My son arranged for the La Noria Los Osuna agave liquor (tequila) tour Drive and Guide Tour Service. Tour guide was excellent, the drive was outside the city into the countryside with an ice chest full of cold beer and water. The tequila factory was not in operation on the day we went (once a month I think), but our guide brought it to life for us, clearly explaining and showing us both the traditional and modern ways tequila is produced. Do not go to Los Osuna without a tour guide - it will be a long drive to see a bunch of equipment laying still. The drive to the next town for lunch was long, as was our wait for food, but our guide seemed to advocate for us at the restaurant (beautiful, local place with excellent food, fresh tortillas, and refreshing hibiscus water).

The ocean here is nothing to look at. The real gems are in the old town. It was amazing to see how well preserved old town was and I loved the colors of the houses. Looks like Cuba or something.

Not our favorite port to visit. Nice coming in but shipping yard and construction made it difficult to leave the area. Turtle rescue was informative and the resort lovely but our bus was in needed of desperate repair and I was very concerned it was going to leave us stranded. Thankfully it did not. That bus should be taken out of service.

Easy to navigate. Stone Island tour was fabulous. Took the catamaran and saw whales, dolphins, and seals. Went horseback riding and rode banana boats on the beach and the tour included lunch and alcoholic drinks.
