Very old, very rundown, not much to do beyond walk to Old Town and back through sketchy neighborhoods. There were lots of cops along the route though, so it didn't feel terribly unsafe.

The best tour guide. Spoke every good English and very knowledgeable. Toured in a van so it was more personalized tour.

We booked the day pass for a resort through carnival. We didn’t like the port where we docked it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed the day pass but don’t think we would do it again. I didn’t know that Carnival has the option to choose cruises to stay in Cabo or Puerto Vallarta for two days and skip Mazatlán.
