We had as nice excursion. There's a lot to see and do near the dock. However, you have to ride a tram to and from the ship.

VERY industrial/shipping port. Too dangerous to walk around. DO NOT even consider walking back to the ship! Take the shuttle. Our tour was typical “sight seeing with shopping”…unremarkable

Neat small town feel. Bunch of expatriate volunteers standing along the street provide advice on what to see and how to get there. Even installed a tiled blue line showing how to get to heart of downtown. Market was neat.

First time at Mazatlan and loved it!! I was curious when we first pulled into port into a legit port haha but then I followed people to a line and trams took us to the front with some shopping! Love “the blue line” into the city! My sis and I followed it from the ship. We arrived at a plaza with lots of restaurants and shopping. I noticed a sign that said Malecon and we followed the arrows. Loved putting our feet in the ocean and watching the cliff divers! Went to the old Basilica and there was a service of some sort going on, really cool to see.

We did the mini boats through out the canals with lunch and lounging at a beach resort. All inclusive and had locals selling us things at the beach. We ended it with shopping before going back onto the cruise.

Big port shopping area with trolleys to take passengers to and from the shopping area. Lots of things to see and do, if one goes farther into the town.

Not too much to do here which is why we booked an excursion. Unfortunately the excursion kept changing while we just sat at the resort waiting for a resolution. We finally get a ride back at around 130 so it was too late to do anything at that point

We missed the tour bus, but there are a lot of people on the pier that will take you on a tour and our guy was the nicest guy abs at lunch time I asked if he was going to eat and he said yes so invited him to have lunch on us. Any time you saw something interesting and want to stop he stoped and told us about the area there.
