There was not any information give to us about what to do when we got off of the boat at this port. The lines for the taxis were very long, and we did not know where to go in one. We eventually just rented a car, and found that driving in Mexico is very different from driving in America. It was fun once we found playa del carmen and fifth avenue, but nothing from the ship led us to these spots!!

We went on the Cancun shopping trip. The bus ride was too long. It was a Saturday and more crowded than ever. We couldn't make the beach stop because the bus driver couldn't find a place to park the bus. The stops at the Mexican Outlet and mall were too long. The whole trip was too long. I heard a lot of complaints from many poeple on our bus. I think Cancun is best visited if you stayed at a hotel for a few days and had the time to find and explore the shops and resturants. We will never do this again.

We opted to do the "Beach Break" and this was a mistake. The area where they took us looked like it had been a jungle just a week ago. It's an open bar (beware the watered down drinks) and the "shops" they offer are over-priced and consists of 1 small store, if you can call it that. They have free sea kayaks, which are fun if the water is not too choppy. They also offer lounge chairs and small cabanas for shade. It was nice to sit and relax but I could have done this on the ship. I would choose a different excursion next time.

I really enjoyed the Mayan Ruins, and at the site of the ruins you can go down to the beach and swim.

The ship was sold out of all of the sore excursions so we bought one when we got off the ship (snorkeling). The sales guy right off the ship told us one thing and then when we got to our destination the time was actually cut in half and we only went to one reef instead of 2 like we were told so definelty buy it from the ship. We ate at a resteraunt on the beach and it was so beautiful! There's nothing like havingt sand between your toes while you are eating a delicious meal with you loved one. VERY ROMANTIC!

Lappis Jewelry Factory - don't waste your time, Playa del Carmen - crowded, shopping was all right, the beaches are gorgeous, white sand, clean and not crowded.

Absolutely gorgeous! Go to the Exaret! It has everything you'd want to see in port. It's a huge place. Great snorkeling

Chichen Itza is something awesome to see. It did take a very long time from port to the site. Would be better if the ship could port closer to more activities.
