Why do they even go here? There is nothing! You can see Cozumel from the ship. There are no shops or beaches to go to unless you take a taxi. The excursions were not good, the cave dive has bats swooping at you !

In order to get anywhere in Calica, you must pay for a taxi. We took a horseback riding shore excursion which was excellent.

Calica was nothing special. In fact, most everyone went to either Cancun or Tulum.

The beaches of Playa DelCarmen were beautiful. Water is warm, and beautiful sand.
