I think it was off-season for the divers - but they put on "second stringers" for us - still cool.

Even though there are congested and poor parts of this port, the people, their lifestyle, and sites are wonderful. We toured with an independent tour operator and had the best time I have had in a port in a long time. Casa Blanca, La Flamingo Hotel, Chapel of Peace, and La Quebrada are must sees.

Got a good deal on a local taxi ride throught the city. He took us to all the highlights and was very polite and knowledgeable about the history of the city. Plus the taxi was airconditioned!!
