Beautiful island. The smiths luau food was good but luau show was terrible. Dancers were not in sync and were did not look authentic as claimed.

Was our favorite island of them all. We did the Wailua Canyon which was a must see. There is shopping near the port and free shuttles so that was nice.

Kailua River and Fern Grotto is worth your time, boat ride up the river is fun. Luau and plantation tour is nice. Luau show made it all worthwhile. Kauai is gorgeous. Directors Cut tour on Friday was our favorite excursion of the trip. Get up early and go. Auntie Alicia was a great guide. Best lunch and ice cream of the trip in Hanalei.

Lisa was a phonemical tour guide. Hubby and I loved our tour with Lisa. Loved this port as well, as there was so much to see. loved seeing wild chickens everywhere except for KFC restaurants, it was hilarious.

Took the free shuttle to Hilo Hattie which has unique luau wear....however Wal-Mart is next door and can get items for half the price. The helicopter ride with Blue Hawaiian Helicopter is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! (Our pilot Beth was awesome!) the sites you see are indescribable and breathtaking....highly recommended!! The luau excursion purchased through the ship is WORTHLESS unless you are okay with sharing bad food with 800 others from the ship. You're limited to 2 drinks (can only get one at a time). If you want more drinks...pay additional $5.00 for one....."bar service" includes bottom shelf liqour and no frozen drinks. Overall it felt more commercialized than authentic.

John from Kauai Island Tours was awesome and he was a local guide, born and raised. Beautiful beaches and saw where famous people owned property. Found a good food truck for lunch

Our excursion was cancelled for Kauai so we didn’t get to do much. Some great shopping if that’s what you’re into. However, for me the best part of the island was the sail away. If you are a latitudes silver or above member you get an invitation to the front of the ship to take in the spectacular views of the island. Later you get to enjoy the absolutely astonishing views of the Nā Pali coast. Words can’t really describe this!

We did the best of Kauai tour and if you don't mind being stuck on a bus for most of it then go. The stops were beautiful but we were on the bus most of the time.

Kauai was my favorite port! We rented a convertible Mustang and drove all around the island, seeing Waimea Canyon, and a coffee plantation. It's amazing how the scenery changes from lush green to dry volcanic soil depending on which side of the island you're on. I definitely recommend renting a car and exploring.

We did not like the excursion we did in this port. Out tour bus driver was not very good. He was hard to understand and wasn't very informative. We felt like we could have seen the highlights of this excursion on our own in half the time it took to see them with the tour.
