Loved Kauai, absolutely beautiful and lots to do. We rented a car and did the Jurassic Park Helicopter ride which was amazing. We also did Capt Andy's catamaran up the Napoli coast and it was good.

Took the trip around Kauai. Stopped at beaches, Coffee Plantation and Waimae Canyon. Finished the day off with a luau.

We spend 2 beautiful days, we tried with the ship tour, but it was pre-cruise sold out, so we had to find a tour in a mall near the port. Excellent! we hired a private guided tour that for the same value took us to see the sunset in the volcano, to visit the city and the next day, to visit the turtles, the whales and to see the island.

Took a taxi, saved $200 for four. Driver John a great guy, gave us a terrific tour both ways. Spent about 2 hours in town with lunch.
