Easy walk from the ship to town. My main goal was to get some good Kona Coffee. More expensive than I remembered. But, worth it! Walked the town...can't be more than 3 blocks and just relaxed.

Took a tour that took us to two coffee plantations that were really interesting. We got to see several other local sites and got a good experience of the local culture.

We rented a car, very easy experience, I would recommend Thrifty that is at a hotel right at the port.

Something went very wrong with the timing of tendering off the ship. We were told to be in theatre at 8:30 am, did not disembark until 11:09 am. Also, they had rescheduled my second excursion that I had booked for this port to begin before the first one was finished! I had to go back twice to guest services before it was resolved...not sure why? They seemed to think there would be some question of why we'd want a refund, but in the end we were given a cash refund.

Another one our favorite ports. Visit the kona coffee factories.

By the time the tenders transported everyone, we had just a couple of hours to spend on the island

Only remotely decent port , but not even a port, it is a tender spot, and can you believe, their tender boats are the life boats???? Nothing like experiencing the emergency equipment!!! Spend some $$$ like Royal Carribean and get a decent tender boat!!!

I love Kona, but the excursions we went on were not as exciting as I had hoped. The bus driver got lost on his way to the Seahorse farm, was 1/2 hour late leaving, and 10 minutes early coming in.

We took this day as a day of rest. We did tender into port, but we didnt have anything planned. We took the opportunity to look around the town and just sit by the ocean and walk up and down the streets. A relaxing day.
