We had a great time. We enjoyed the time at sea the best. Due to the time of year and length of the cruse (Oct-Nov) there were few children aboard. Most passengers were in their 50s to 80s. Many had issues with walking and needed cane, walkers, and scooters. The crew went out of their way to help the passengers get around the ship and help them in the buffet line or where ever it was difficult to maneuver. I commend them for being so helpful
Embarkation

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
While the food was good it was not quite up to the level we have had on other Celebrity cruses. The food in Muranos was excellent and the experience in the Qcinse restaurant was a great experience. The drinks offered in the various bars were exotic and great tasting. You could never get bored drinking the same thing over and over.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The Eclipse offers both an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. That way even when the weather is not perfect you can enjoy a swim. The ship has a great workout area.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The cruse had some great bands and featured some very good singers. It seemed like there was always some entertainment going on somewhere on the ship. The comedians were not top material but the shows were very entertaining.
Children's Programs
Had no children with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The wait staff in the dining area were just outstanding. They went way out of their way to make you feel like royalty. The crew was VERY friendly. If you can believe it you almost could not go anywhere onboard without meeting a staff member greeting you with a "Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening hope you are enjoying the cruse". Our room steward made sure that the room stayed emasculate and we always had fresh towels.
Ship Quality

The ship just the right size. It was not to long a walk from bow to stern. I wish they had an elevator at the stern of the ship. Our cabin was at the stern so if we were doing something at the stern (theaters, casino, movie were located in the stern) we had to walk to midships for an elevator then walk back to our room. The ship was very clean with staff constantly clean common areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The veranda was the perfect size for two people to sit and relax and watch the sea go by while sipping a drink or enjoying room service.
We took an excursion and saw a black sand beach the volcano craters. We did not have much time at either stop. The rest of the stops were just souvenir purchase stops. Wasted time.
Took a tour that took us to two coffee plantations that were really interesting. We got to see several other local sites and got a good experience of the local culture.
Leaving the ship was easy just a long line for customs and picking up luggage. We booked the bus to the airport offered by the ship and it was great. Highly reccomend it.
