Review summary

This is a different cruise. If you like a very relaxed atmosphere, this is it. There is not the constant pressure to buy drinks; in fact, I was only asked if I wanted drinks while I was sitting in the performance venues. The entertainment was marginal, and there was not very much entertainment offered. There was little variance in the food. The buffet was mostly the same every day. We had a noise problem with our room and they moved us to another room the next day... very responsive. The predominantly US crew did not appear to work as hard to make the cruise enjoyable... they were not overly friendly. Our room was clean, but the public areas were not.

No variety of entertainment. One magician, one comedian (and he was very funny), and two revue shows.

Crew was not very friendly; but front desk was quite responsive.

We liked the fact that there was a promenade deck, but there were no lounge chairs on this deck to sit out of the sun to view the scenery. The public areas were not very clean, and they did not appear to be cleaned often.

Cabin / Stateroom

VERY noisy staterooms. Squeaky in both rooms we were in. Rooms were kept clean, but not stocked with coffee and ice each day. Rooms were tiny in comparison to other ships.

Ports of call

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

I love Kona, but the excursions we went on were not as exciting as I had hoped. The bus driver got lost on his way to the Seahorse farm, was 1/2 hour late leaving, and 10 minutes early coming in.
