Tender port. They drop you off right near downtown. It’s walkable but there are steep hills. Easy to get out an explore. Kona brewing company has a great restaurant with tons of beers that you can’t get on the mainland.

Kona Mocha was the tour we chose here. Learned about how cocoa is grown and made into chocolate. Great tour.

Enjoyed the snorkeling, but thought the Molokini snorkeling was better

We rented a car and went on a snorkeling excursion. Use Tom Barefoot's Tours if you want to do go snorkeling. They were an awesome group and our guide did a wonderful job. Kona shops are right off the tinder area and had a Key West atmosphere. It was a neat area.

Rode in a glass bottom boat to tour the Kona Reef; nothing too spectacular. Returned to the ship after-wards.

We loved Kona and once you take the tender to shore this was the ONLY place that had a beach and shopping and restaurants right there so that was nice! We did an excursion and explored and it’s just stunning!

Shipyard port again. Took in a Laua that was nice. Booked a private tour to see the island.
