Overall, it was a wonderful experience to mark off our bucket list.
Embarkation

It was quite uncoordinated.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was good. The steakhouse and the sushi restaurant were delicious. I would suggest experiencing the steakhouse.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Not much to do on the 5 days at sea. Wish there was more activities since we had to stay inside ship due to weather
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were good. The comedy was so-so
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
As always the room stewards and our dining room staff were wonderful and always willing to help. No complaints at all
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Obviously the ship is in need of a cosmetic upgrade. Alot of wear and tear. And the layout was somewhat odd. Did a lot of walking to get to various areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size and cleanliness were not an issue. However, when we first got to our room, there were no bedside lamps. It took 3 days to get our lamps. Another member of our party had bought water for her room but it took 3 days of her asking for it before it was delivered
Did the Pearl Harbor shore excursion and it was very good but a very sobering experience. Would recommend it to anyone going to Hawaii. Honolulu was very busy. But it was neat to visit. I wouldn't stay there long term though
The port was nothing to brag about. Basically a warehouse area. We rented a car which was the best thing to do and went to the shopping area. It was neat and had great shops. Got shaved ice there.
No shore excursion but we did drive to Volcano Nat'l Park. Did a lot of walking and saw Mt. Kilauea. Unless you have a lot of stamina, I would suggest not doing this.
We rented a car and went on a snorkeling excursion. Use Tom Barefoot's Tours if you want to do go snorkeling. They were an awesome group and our guide did a wonderful job. Kona shops are right off the tinder area and had a Key West atmosphere. It was a neat area.
This port was at a warehouse like area also. We did a whale watching tour and was able to get up close and personal with a mama and baby whale. We then did a luau that night. Lahaina Luau was a wonderful experience right on the beach.
