Be sure to experience the Captain Zodiac tour. It was a wonderful experience as dolphins swam within arm's length.

Don't rent scooters if you have never ridden. Too much traffic.

We did not take a tour today but walked around the port area. A visit to the "Queens Place" was worth the $6.00 admission fee to see the furniture and artifacts (if you like that sort of thing). The beach near the ship is okay for little ones. (we have a 5 yearold). But next time I would take the shuttle to Turtle Beach as some folks suggested.

NCL Kona by land excursion was fair. Nice to have access to shopping areas near the port.

Wonderful scenic trip to A-Bay. Had a little difficulty finding restroom initially. Feet got cut/shredded on sharp lava rocks getting in & out of the water, but it was still a great day! Saw neat turtles swimming there.
