Review summary

We are in our 60's, and this was our first trip to Hawaii. I am so thankful for the cruise ship service that took us to multiple islands so we didn't have to make our own arrangements, drag our luggage around, and spend more time waiting in the airport for the short flights. The Shore Excursions were varied and excellent. All our drivers/guides were so knowledgeable, friendly, and even funny. The food was good on the ship; it was kept clean, and there was adequate on-board entertainment. They were very organized and efficient getting us On & Off at every stop. This is an ideal way to visit the islands. It was our 15th cruise overall and the FIRST to have fast internet!

The so-called dance lessons offered were a joke. The instructors only knew their routines from the ship, impractical for most users. Call the lessons something else other than Salsa, Waltz & Swing if they don't know what those dances are.

We needed to dance "balllroom" style, but that wasn't available except one evening for a short/limited time and extremely small circular bar dance floor.

There is some sort of noisy work room next door to this but it did finally quiet down each night. The sound is very loud during the day. I would not want this room again.

Our driver Kimoto (sp?) made this the most interest tour as well as a sobering experience at Pearl Harbor.

Wailea Beach was a lovely setting with decent snorkeling. Beach staff were ready to assist with any needs. Would have liked to have had lunch included!

Botannical Gardens tour was exceptional with Kemake (sp?) as our knowledgeable humorous driver. He kept us laughing and informed about so much culture and plants.

Wonderful scenic trip to A-Bay. Had a little difficulty finding restroom initially. Feet got cut/shredded on sharp lava rocks getting in & out of the water, but it was still a great day! Saw neat turtles swimming there.

Allerton/McBride Gardens were gorgeous and a good lunch was included. Lots of walking, but not difficult. Again we had a most informed driver.
