After a chaotic disembarkation, we boarded a bus that took us up 10,000 feet to the top of a crater whose name I will not try to spell. It was 84 degrees at the port and 34 degrees on top of the crater. The week before had white out conditions from snow on top of this crater.

Both of our excursions were cancelled for this port because of the shortened trip. I couldn't give it half a star.

Did the best of Maui. Got cut one day because of high wave activity on the East side. Don’t know why we couldn’t have a hired 2 days instead of one.

Wake up early on Monday, drive up Haleakala and see the sunrise then drive over to Lahina.
