We did the Pearl Harbor Tour, which was awesome. Our tour guide was an idiot, with passengers able to answer questions better than he did. However, the rest of Honolulu, is just a regular dirty city. Nothing great or fabulous here, and easy to forget you were in such a beautiful place as Hawaii. The people here were also that of the city, very rude.

We did the Pearl Harbor without the shopping (which was full) and drop off at the airport. At Pearl Harbor it is up to the Navy if you can take the ride over to the actual memorial (which is the only thing that costs $. They said we could save the ticket and come back, but we were leaving that night.

We headed straight from the airport to the cruise ship, but stayed in Waikiki for two days after the cruise and the port was great.

Rented a car again here for the two days we stayed here. Parking the rental was easy. There are indoor parking structures a few blocks away from the cruise terminal. It’s about a 5 minute walk between the two. Went to diamond head, Dole Plantation, Pearl Harbor, and Ala Moana marketplace. We have been to Honolulu before so we didn’t want to do Waikiki.

Must stay at least 3-4 days in advance of sailing for all there is to see.

Got a tour through tours by locals.com and Roland was the best. Saw Pearl Harbor and the whole island in. 8 hours. He even took us to a local shave ice that most tourists don’t find, Wailoas

The ports were very nice but mostly docking in commercial areas - not as nice as most ports elsewhere.

We spent a couple of days in Honolulu after the cruise and enjoyed it. After having been in the Caribbean many times, all of the Hawaiian Islands just looked like the Caribbean islands.
