Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

everyone provided great service & were very helpful Big Smile we enjoyed the pool near the gym that was for adults only & provided a sauna & steam room. Watching the movies on the big screen outside was awesome & during the day time you could enjoy the picture with no problem. The entertainment on board was excellent we especially enjoyed the Trumpet player Dan Delgado. The comedians related to our age group & were hilarious to the point of laughing so hard I had tears running down my face.

Cabin / Stateroom
being at sea for 15 days we really enjoyed the ocean view & having the refrigerator
Embarkation and Disembarkation
fast & easy
Ship Quality
once you were familiar with the layout we had no problem with it. I personally enjoyed the decor because it was an older ship, it seemed more personal
Onboard Activities
we enjoyed the spa services & they met our individual needs, My husband said there was too much art but that is only because I brought home 4 of them.
Entertainment
The entertainment on board was excellent we especially enjoyed the Trumpet player Dan Delgado. The comedians related to our age group & were hilarious to the point of laughing so hard I had tears running down my face.    The movies offered were the most current that could be offered & you could watch them in several places including your stateroom
Service and Staff
Teo at dinner was excellent, The head waiter ran all the way upstairs to the 14th level to get the granola I wanted, Rusty our cabin attendant made sure we had all that we needed & cleaned the room when we hung the sign on the door
Food and Dining
we loved the food & the waiters went above & beyond to make sure you were happy,
Hilo, Hawaii
that port didn't have much to offer if you just got off & walked around. Next time we will rent a car & go to the volcano park
Honolulu, Oahu
has changed a lot in the last 15 years. if you want to do Pearl Harbor make reservations. too many people have the same idea
Nawiliwili, Kauai
we went on the tour with the Alex Van it was great
Lahaina, Maui
the main board walk area has lots to see & car rentals are too far away

Tip

buy the internet package before you board the ship because you get free minutes. consider renting a car & touring each island on your own. bringing your own wine on board was no problem that way you know you will enjoy wine that you like rather than paying too high of a price for perhaps the same
