P&O came up trumps with an excursion - Visit to Morano glass factory and a gondola ride - I think it was £38 each. Well worth it as gondola ride for 2 is normally €90 - €120 for a couple. You can't really get lost in Venice so just wander and see the bridges and St Mark's square. Beautiful place. Make the most of your time there.

Most excursions were good, excellent in Valentia, very disappointed about Ibiza tour as the guide didn't go to the most interesting part, the visit to the old city. Also here comments were unimportant, like "there are 3 Lidl supermarkets on the island, etc.

Prots were all of interest, we did excursions which were well guided. Of special note, is Pompeii. A most interesting excursion that should be on everyones list. A visit back in time to see a roman city, excavated, in prime condition.

Thankfully, we had visited Venice before and were not highly impacted by the rainy weather and daily flooding. However, we were not able to do a planned excursion (not Princess) because the boats were cancelled

port is a different location from the heart of the city where we travelled 3 yrs ago - but just as gorgeous!!!
