Walking from the ship to St. Marks Square - about 30 min. but worth it to experience the wonderful atmosphere of the streets, bridges, shops, and piazza's along the way. A gondola ride is a must, but certainly over-rated so don't be disappointed.

Venice lives up to its billing in terms of beauty; outrageously expensive, but was a lot of fun

This is one place we wished we had more time. We spent our 2 days in Venice running around. Loved this city and would love to return.

We stayed on in Venice for three days and got to take in the ambience of the city, even though we had been there before.

Watch where you sit for the local beer. Get the price first as 2 bers cost 27 Euros in the square. You can wonder the streets for hours and it is delightful. Look for a small resturaunt that has a lot of people who may not be tourists. You can get a great Pizza.
