We didn't do an excursion in Valencia, but did take the Princess shuttle into the center of town, where we watched a great cultural dancing show in a square (lots of fun, and interesting) and climbed the tower/gate into the Old City. We also had some gelato and coffee, and enjoyed just wandering around the Old Town very much.

Beautiful place!! Nice taxi fair to train station. Went to the beach and back to the boat. The atmosphere was amazing and architecture is awesome. Need more than a day there.

Valencia is dramatic, both historically and architecturally. Four hours is too short a time for a visit, and our poor tour guide almost lost half of her 59 guests turning a corner.

We took the tour and then were able to spend the afternoon in the busy city center. We enjoyed pizza at a little place standing room only. We would have liked a little more time on the tour to explore and shop on our own. The cathedral was worth seeing as there is still part of the Roman wall on the outside of the building.

We visited Palma de Mallorca and did an excursion to Son Amar for a flamenco performance. I highly recommend that! We also visited Valencia. Was thankful to have bus service to the city center since the sights were so far away from port.
