Lovely walk from the port. Santa Cruz was beautiful with plenty of shops and cafe. The seafront is currently ungergoing a major refurbishment and will only add to the beauty of Santa Cruz.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a nice city to walk through. Plenty of parks and plazas to enjoy. García Sanabria Park was my favorite--different flowers and trees, sculptures, fountains...a nice break from the city.

This City was very nice to visit and the major city areas are walkable or to take a short ride on the shuttle. Did not take an excursion

A cable car excursion to the top of Mount Teide is a must as is a visit to the National Park

More of a city and tourist feel than LaPalma, but also quite beautiful as the mountains litter the oceanside and communities sprawl. Great shopping and walking areas. Great place to get lost and find some good authentic food! This seems to me to be a place a lot of American might add to their retirement home list---if they were aware of it! Not crazy expensive for food and souvenirs. I wouldn't drive though! LOL
