Review summary

We have taken many transatlantic cruises but this was our first going west to east. We still prefer to go west to east. The ports have been the same for years so we only got off in Nice which we enjoyed doing all of the old Gothic section. It would have been great if the guide had a Mike so we could always hear her. We went on the hop on, hop  off in Barcelona. best way to tour. Saw all we wanted and had a delicious lunch on the waterfront. We did our own tour of Tenerife . Only problem was the food on the ship was inconsistent though the Murano restaurant was fantastic.

We only wish that Celebrity would find some new ports for their transatlantic cruises.

All in all we had a great time and would do it again in a heart beat. Oh right we are.

The speakers were very interesting. Very enjoyable.

Entertainment

Just average. Nothing special. The ships entertainer and their shows were even below average. Needs great improvement

Cabin / Stateroom

Great cabin, great cabin steward. Should have had better location. More mid ship.

Ship tip

We loved having our veranda. Make sure it's on the sunny side . If room could be mid ship that is also a good idea. Reflection is easy to maneuver through. Have drinks at the bar on 3 before dinner .

Went on a walking tour of old Nice. Nice was very nice but the tour guide should have had a mic.

Do your own thing. Plenty of tours on the pier for much less money. Make sure driver speaks English.
