Was really looking forward to Tallin but weather was a bit rainy so that was a bit if a damper. Ship docks within walking distance so no need for excursions if you are physically able. The Old Town from 10am on though felt mobbed with ALL cruisers/ tourists so also took away from the local "magic." Free walking tours at 12p (look up online) was VERY good- get local money so you can tip them!! Food is interesting there. Vegan spots too. Viewpoints in the old town good. Old Hansa touristy but definitely worth a visit/peek/taste. Nevsky beautiful. Small guild museum was fine, we needed a place to get dry and it was somewhat informative. Off beaten path: uber it or walk (20 mins from Old town past train station Balti Jaama-also cool markets inside) to Telleskivi aka Creative City and Depoo. Industrial/hipster/artsy cafes, shops. Lunch at F-Hoone was good. Nice contrast to old town to see young Estonia which is actually a very "e-country"

Took the Hop On, Off Bus at the pier & we also walked around town. The old city was very unique with beautiful buildings & interesting shops. We had lunch at the Beer House Brewery. A flight of beer had 8 samples which were 6-8 ounces. We ordered a large pretzel which was made to order, latkes & bratwurst. Would love to go back to Tallinn for several days.

A gem of a find. Fairy tale, walled city which we will certainly return to. Beautiful and charming.

We did a food tour through Food Sightseeing Estonia. We were the only two on the tour with an excellent guide. His knowledge along with the amazing local food made for an excellent day.

A small city made us feel warm and friendly. We took Hop-on-Hop-off bus. It is complete contrary to St. Petersburg, and absolutely worth to visit. Its Old Town is the most beautiful place among all of the cities in the cruise.

Unlike anywhere you’ve ever been! Medieval. A bit like Shrek-world. Castles and medieval buildings abide. The market square was alive and vibrant. Walkable from port- about twenty minutes. Great surprise.

Quaint old cobblestoned town. Do the excursion to Rakvere to see some of the countryside and visit a castle run by a little town, not a big corporation. Lunch was a country style pork stew, bread, and a salad really from a garden.

Tallin was quite a pleasant surprise too. On our own here as well, because I'd read it is very walkable, and it is. Walking up, down, in and around the cobblestone streets and shops was so interesting.
