This oddly was the port I planned to skip because I did not want to see some pearl factory that made fake pearls. Well-the staff explained it is one of the few cities where you get off the boat you ARE IN THE CITY and so I walked off the boat and into the city and had such a blast I did not want to go back to the ship. Many high quality garments for almost nothing in Euros. Here is where I bought real pearls for little and lots of clothes for very little Tons of children's clothes also-so I was able to hook up my grand kids.

Very beautiful. Easy walk from the port to the city. Lots of nice restaurants and shops.

Beautiful City and the cathedral is a sight to behold. Wonderful shopping and excellent restaurants. Will be heading back for a long weekend. Good market too.

Maybe should have taken the shuttle bus to town. There is a huge shopping center with nice prices for clothes that we walked to from the ship if that would interest you.

No room to dock, but took tender boat to port for excursion to a 10th century farm for a tour and taste of local food and wine

Take the tour to Valldemossa and the Train ride in Soller. Lunch was great. Beautiful scenery if you get away from the port. Tapas and Flamenco tour is also very good.
