This was a Holland America tour to Pompei, Sorrento & Capri. Tour was by bus & high speed boat. The tour guide made the excursion special & each location was very different & had something interesting to offer. Would highly recomend.

Took a tour that brought us to Sorrento and then took a motor launch along the coast to Amalfi where we shopped and ate and then returned by launch to Sorrento and then on to Pompei-long day! Our guide was Luigi- he was excellent.

The cruise lies in the town so you can easly walk. We took a taxi to pompei and after this the taxidriver offered us to take us sightseeing. That was superfun!

We went on the Capri excursion in Naples. It was beautiful, but incredibly crowded. If we visited again, we would go to Pompeii instead.

Hiked Mt. Vesuvius which is strenuous. Amazing views of Naples and the crater. Then we visited Pompeii which is like no other place on earth.

we had been warned about pick pockets in Naples. To the contrary, we actually really enjoyed the service, sights, and people in Naples.

Again another great port and you can do the 3 city tour for $80 euros if you book direct and not through the cruise.
