Review summary

Very good! We was a group of 15 people that traveled together. Family and friends. Cruise was perfect when traveling with so many people. It was Nice that the food was included so we didnt have to split the check. Greetings to the best staffworkers: Milan, Mohammed, James, Ricardo and Clever.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
It was amazing. They had many choises of food in all the diningrooms we visited. We enjoyed a 3 coursed meal every night with a lot of good drinks

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
One of us used the trainingroom every morning, and he said it was very nice.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
High quality musicians and artists. I was on stage the first night and that was very fun for me and my family.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We loved all the staff on the cruise, but our favorites was Milan and Mohammed in the main diningroom, James in the bar on 11 deck, and Clever and Ricardo that cleaned our rooms on deck 10. Clever knew all our names from day one, and we were 13 people traveling together on that floor! Amazing!

Ship tip

It was hard to find the people we was traveling with when we were at sea because there was no mobilereseption. The wifi-package was very expensive so only to of 15 people bought it

Took the train to rome and bought a ticket to a "hop on hop off" bus. It was very hot so sightseeing was hard

Naples, Italy

The cruise lies in the town so you can easly walk. We took a taxi to pompei and after this the taxidriver offered us to take us sightseeing. That was superfun!

Problem with one of our cards. Because of this she had to stand in a long line to check out. Also there was a very long taxiline

I hope you were able to see a few of the hundreds of sites in Rome that are free and easy to access like Basilicas Santa Maria Maggiore and Saint John Lateran or historical sites like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Borghese Park, etc. Low cost museums are everywhere and just about any church, many buildings, streets, etc., are open time capsules. The big tours do take most of a day though, but you indicated the hop on hop off bus pass. True that Rome is toasty in the summer months, but I see you did give it 5 stars. I wanted to note that Rome, for many secular, historical, artistic, architectural, and for some visitors, religious reasons is, in my opinion, a top ten place to visit on this planet and deserving of more than 5 stars.
