Naples is not much to write home about but the side trip to Pompeii is spectaular

Went to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii. Heard Naples itself was dirty with nothing to see.

Did the Almafi coast by land and sea and Pompeii. The Amalfi coast drive was quite the experience. This excursion included lunch, which was awful and took too long. We only had 1 hour in Pompeii. Another stop I need to go back to.

Port is ugly you need to take an excursion and see everything away from the port.

Port was nice. The Excursion was nice but had to many added fees. The excursion needs to be paid in full with the ticket price. don't nickel and dime me to make an extra $15, charge the fee up front.

We did the Amalfi coast - Positano and Sorrento - Absolutely beautiful. We hired a car with a driver for the day.

Don't miss the Amalfi Coast and the inlaid wood factory. The lemons and that industry were phenomenal. Needed much more time to just shop!

We chose to do the Pompeii Excavations. The tour was excellent!!! The gentleman was extremely informative and loves it and loves to talk about it. He was amazing!!! I give him a 5, and only wish there would have been more free time after the tour. But I want you to take note of the rest concerning this port…because it’s a 1…or 0: When we showed up in the Stardust Theater that shore excursions staff started threatening us…that if we didn’t take a seat then he wouldn’t call numbers and we’d be late or miss our tours. Only after the reaction from the crowd did he change it to lining up the buses, it takes time, the aisles need to stay clear for safety, etc. We get that…but he chose to threaten everyone first. I feel lucky that we had seats, because for those that couldn’t find seats he threatened to call security. Thank goodness tours finally started leaving. Horrible, terrible, appalling excursions staff.
