Go to Pompeii and Capri. The visit to Sorrento and Positano,although beautiful scenery,not worth it! They are tourist shopping traps.

not much in the port itself, need to take a shuttle, So grab on to an excursion. We went to Sorrento and Pompeii. Wonderful and well worth the money.

Did not see much of the city of Naples, but the Amalfi Coast is a worthwhile drive and Pompeii a must see.

Our one big complaint about all ports is that the boat often docks very far away from the city center and there are not clear instructions on how to get to the city nor are maps provided. Thankfully, I had sone a bunch of research on each port to figure out what there was to do and see and brought maps for most of the ports with me. We figured out how to go to Capri on our own and had a truly magical day!

I'm in LOVE with Southern Italy!!! You must take the excursion/drive down the Amalfi Coast! The views were breathtaking!!! It was the best excursion of the whole trip!!!!
