We did not really see Naples because we took a tour of Pompaii. It was very interesting and an awesome place to see.

We did MSC excursion to Pompeii. Tour guide was excellent, very informative and well organised. It was very busy with lots of other tours going on. It was a lot of walking ( almost 2 hrs) on uneven paths but we knew that and it was well worth it. The bus journey with Vesuvius in the background was around 30 mins. Pompeii itself was amazing and we only got to see a small portion of it in the time we were there. The weather was perfect, not too hot, I wouldn't want to do the tour in the height of Summer.

Capri was marvelous but extremely busy as it was a Sunday stop and the locals were competing with the various ships in port. We had been to the Amalfi coast, Naples, and Pompeii on a previous cruise.

Some of our group hired a taxi to Pompeii, they said there was not a lot to see. We all then took a hydofoil across to Capri, we rented a powert boat and toured the island and went swimming. The beaches ( rocks ) were over crowded.

Gorgeous...need like 3 days to see everything. Once again, poorly informed by staff about the port. Pomepii is massive, needs a whole day and will be too difficult for some. Where was this information? Nowhere!
