This was a very frustrating port with many disappointments. Although the time there should have been filled with beautiful sites, we were left very disappointed in the extreme delays. Our large family group that participated and paid a lot of money for our shore excursion felt taken advantage of and cheated out of the experience it should have been.

We went on our own all the was to the town of Amalfi on the Amalfi Coast. The plan was to spend some time there and then go back to Sorrento and spend some time there. We absolutely love Amalfi and spent more time there then planned, and less time in Sorrento, which also seemed like a very nice city. Naples was having a garbage strike and even though we didn't spend much time there, it was terrible...dirty, traffic, and generally not a nice place from what we saw.

We did the excursion to Capri. This was our favorite stop! The island was beautiful though horribly crowded with tourists. Our guide was amazing, very interesting and helpful. The shopping was fabulous! We found out that the lunch we had on this excursion was the same that our parents had on their excursion to Pompeii/Amalfi/Sorrento, which was not the best!

We had a great day with Ryan at jerusalem & the dead sea. Ryan was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to he made the day run very smoothly & we felt safe at all times. We would recommend this tour with ship mate & Ryan 😊

Loved it here my favorite port, very beautiful city great tour guide, he took us up each mountain going up and up which was a lil nervous when you look over and see how far you are up. The driving there is just as scary too, streets over crowded with cars and people. We made a few stops took us to do some eating and shopping, would def want to come back.

Naples was a bit scary. Suggest a cab to the train station to Pompeii or Sorrento.
