Enjoyed eating whenever we wanted to. Didn't like that freestyle choices of restaurants meant, in most cases, spending more money.

We didn't take this cruise because of the activities on board, so we didn't participate in many of them...but what we did was good.

Always amazed at how happy the cruise staff is to help out. They work tireless hours and are always pleasant.

Very nice balcony and the shower was especially nice. Otherwise, a clean room....didn't need anything special.

Naples, Italy

We went on our own all the was to the town of Amalfi on the Amalfi Coast. The plan was to spend some time there and then go back to Sorrento and spend some time there. We absolutely love Amalfi and spent more time there then planned, and less time in Sorrento, which also seemed like a very nice city. Naples was having a garbage strike and even though we didn't spend much time there, it was terrible...dirty, traffic, and generally not a nice place from what we saw.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

We went to Florence on our own. It's a nice city and we saw a lot...and did lots of walking....which we love to do. Tried to fit in a visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but there wasn't enough time. Waited too long on line to see Michelangelo's "David" at the Gallerie Acedemia. It was nice to see, but the time could have been better spent. Had we not waited in line, we might have seen the Tower.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but the scenery and tastes of Majorica was a little over hyped. Hard to see from the bus windows and we paid a lot of money for what we got. Luckily there was time after the tour to spend in Palma. Very nice shops and loved walking from town back to the ship

Monte Carlo, Monaco

Loved Eze. Interesting to see Monoco (the Rock) and Monte Carlo. There wasn't enough "free time" to do and see much. But the tour guide (Frederic) was very knowledgeable and we covered a lot of ground.
