Muy fácil llegar desde el barco al centro de la ciudad. Gran cantidad de museos y restaurantes, calles rebosantes de buen ambiente. Sin duda uno de esos puertos en los que es mejor explorar la ciudad por ti mismo que reservar una excursión
Malaga is great. We didn't do an excursion here, and there is plenty enough to on your own right in town. There are a lot of bar and restaurants right by the port, and it's not that far to walk to visit the Alcazabal Fortress.

Not the best port I’ve visited. I really don’t like large built up places. I much prefer smaller, picturesque places to stop at. It was an improvement on yesterday’s stop at Alicante. Part of Malaga is modern, good shops and clean but we walked over a bridge to part that was dirty, smelled and neglected. Not my ideal place to stop at. The great thing about cruising is that it gives you a good idea about places you’d like to go back to and places you’d rather not. I’ve enjoyed this cruise but that’s thanks to the ports in Italy and the South of France. Spanish ports I’ve not enjoyed much at all. Made me realise I could never do a Spanish cruise. It’s just not for me but that’s just my opinion and view.
If you ever get a chance to visit Malaga, do so. Going there on a cruise is great, but one day is nowhere near enough time to spend in a city that is almost 3000 years old. The hop on hop off tour was great(I highly recommend it), but we still feel we did not see anywhere near everything there is to see. There is just so much going on here. Great beaches, great restaurants, history out the wazoo... Go, just go. You will love it. Oh, and Picasso was born there. So that’s awesome.
Did the leisure tour, it was good, excellent guide

Some amazing places to eat in old town, Picasso's birthplace home/museum. Museum of glass is also great. A restaurant called Siga La Vaca was excellent.
One of our favorite places on this cruise. Spent the day wandering the town and hanging at an outdoor cafe on the ocean which was incredible. Love this place
WE WALKED AROUND THE DOWNTOWN AREA AND VISITED THE CATHERAL BUT DID NO EXCURSIONS

On this day we did the Gibraltar tour. Which I would HIGHLY recommend. Gibraltar is gorgeous and full of culture. I was worried about the two hour drive but it was beautiful driving along the coast watching the sun rise! Once we arrived, we had free time. This was the worst part of our trip since everything in Gibraltar is closed on a Sunday. We then went to the souther tip and were able to look out across the ocean at Africa!!! After that was went to the top of Gibraltar and explored inside of a cave. It was all lit up different colors and really cool. Then we visited the free roaming MONKEYS!!!
