Great itenarary, nice ship layout and excellent specialty restaurants, however its the little things. This was our 3rd Norwegian cruise and in our opinion Norwegian just does not measure up to some of the other lines we have been on. The most significan issue was the creaks and groans in our cabin. Apparently the Spirit is one of the oldest ships in the fleet, it was refurbished but the apparently left off the roll stabilzers or they did not work very well. The sea were moderate but the rolling action was significant and the creaks & groans in our cabin espicially in the evening were very distracting for sleeping until we finally got used to it. The buffet was not just OK and everything was extra cost even small bottles of water. In spite of everything, including the missed ports we had a good time and enjoyed the cruise.

Specialty restaurants, steakhouse, Italian & French were all excellent, food and service and service was perfect in all of them. Buffet was no worse or better than one should except for a buffet feeding so many. Seating was usually not a problem. Tried the Windows Dining and although was stated to be open was not when we got there at 5:30pm. One experience in the Garden dining not so good. Seated at 5:30, hardly anyone else seated but did not see a server for over 15 min. And when she showed and announced she would be our server she abruptly left and never returned. A gentleman showed about 10 minutes later to take our order and we requested wine first and he said he was taking the whole order. Sure enough the soup came, before the wine. A complaint fell on deaf ears. The soup which was suppose to be clam chowder appeared to be warm water with vegetables, tasted like it and was discarded. The rest of the meal was ok, unremarkable and certainly not memorable

Only saw stage shows, all were excellent, high caliber performance and performers and the cover band consisted of high caliber musicians. A shout out to the Bass Player, he was awesome. The theater itself was plenty large and well laid out.

Been on many cruises with many ships, the layout of this one although being an old ship iis one of the best we have encounterred. Once you figuered out which way was forward, it was easy to get aound and fine your destination.

Faitly standard layout, expected nothing more. Was well maintained and cleaned bt staff. The only problem is due to the ship age and rolling, it suffered from creaks and groans which was very disconcering for sleeping sometimes
