This was a surprise city. We walked in, took about 30 mintues. It was a nice walk along the water then by some parks. Helsinki is such a pretty town. There were markets on whilst we were there, stopped and had morning tea of some local fare. We did a walking tour again using Rick Steve's. Would recommend so much - really nice place, would love to visit again.

Another wonderful stop. No need for a tour. Take the free shuttle into town and walk everywhere. Great history, shops and restaurants.

We had a great tour of Helsinki, including a visit to the outdoor museum. The main problem was again one of time. Our RCI tour group was once again very large (40), and, although the guide was excellent, by the time she herded us through the various venues, made sure that we all got a needed bathroom break and enjoyed the coffee and sweet roll prepared for us, much time was lost and our visits to the actual sites seemed both rushed and incomplete.

We decided to do a Hop on off of bus which gave us time to explore the city on our time. Beautiful markets and shops.

Not as much to see sightseeing that can't be done on your own. See Senate Square and spend relaxing time in the market square drinking and eating. Wonderful people to visit with.

Small neat city. Porvoo was worth doing to see the country and have an excellent lunch at a country inn.

Another port, another hop on hop off bus tour. We jumped off at the rock church which was absolutely stunning. Then we continued through the town to the centre and had a walk around, stopped at another Hard Rock Cafe (3rd of 4 on this trip). Helsinki was beautiful & peaceful.
