Florence is a beautiful place and a must. Blown away by the buildings. We went on the train and it was around an hour away. Walked round and enjoyed it. Stopped and had the best pizza I’ve ever had in one of the main squares

Did the Pisa and Florence on your own tour. Florence was a beautiful place, bit hot and busy, Pisa was nice and was what we expected

Florence is lovely but like all tourist towns is very busy. Pisa was small but interesting

20 mins Walk from the coach parking in hot sunshine absolutely drained me but worth the visit. Take comfy shoes and water in warm weather

Excursion that covered both cities, spent an hour in Pisa which to be honest was ample. There isn't a great deal there and providing you don't want to scale the tower it's enough time to take everything in. Florence was a beautiful city and another contender for a separate long weekend?

Has anyone taken a tour from port into the town of Lucca? Is it worth it? We've to Pisa and the countryside near Lucca a few times, but never into the town itself. Thanks.

Did the tour and boat trip. Boat trip was not as good as we were expecting, but it was all a very enjoyable and interesting visit.
