It was raining but we stood up on the top deck under the awnings and took wonderful pictures. Do NOT recommend Marksburg Castle tour if you have the slightest walking issue or had back or knee replacement. Very uneven grounds

The Rhine and the views of all the castles and towns along the river are spectacular. and the view from the river is remarkable.

When leaving Koblenz, be sure to be up top right away to see the remaining couple of castles along the Rhine. It was easy to miss them while focusing on breakfast and getting around for the day.
